Are you a fan of Newsies? If you’re not or have no idea what I’m talking about….you might want to stop reading. This won’t make much sense and you might think I’m a little crazy 🙂
Well, I’ve been waiting since about 4th grade. I knew it was musical material from day 1.
I’m headed to the big apple in March to see Newsies opening night. Did I mention I can sing all the songs?
The movie version has Christian Bale playing a New York City newsboy. They go on strike and get opposition from the big bosses.
Can’t wait. It’ll be awesome!
Now if they would just make the music to the Broadway version available for purchase I could fully start on my prep for this.
Is Nick going along? I don’t remember him being a big fan of that movie…might have slept thru’ it!
