Say YES to the dress!

A few Sundays ago, a group of us girls headed wedding dress shopping with one of our dear friends, Caresse.  She was a girl on a mission and not to give it away, but mission accomplished.

We visited a cute little boutique in Concord.

It was a great little shop and we got a kick out of our “helper”, Susie.  Honestly, we couldn’t tell if she was crazy or drunk (at noon on a Sunday) but she was great.

With downtime between changes, we took some time to take in the decor.  I’m sure it was al the rage in the 80s 🙂

she said, YES to the dress, we decided to have a little picnic at a local park.

Kellie, the smart girl she is, brought champagne to the dress fitting.  We learned that it’s not allowed…apparently they use to allow it…..but brides would come in starved and nervous.  Followed by champagne – recipe for puke.

So we drank it at the park, along with some apple cider, cheese and crackers.  A lovely afternoon in California!
