renewed my driver’s license online. Fancy!
I can appreciate that. Less paper (although they sent me the forms to renew by mail). And I don’t have to waste my time at the DMV. Since my birthday isn’t until August, it seemed like a great idea!
I got 2 letters from the DMV today.
#1 told me that the new licenses were taking longer to send out. 6-8 weeks potentially. I could use the letter along with my current driver’s license should questions arise. Great….but my license doesn’t expire until August. Still within the 6-8 week window (when I made the renewal). But that’s nice of them to send it out. Just in case it takes a little longer, I’m covered.

Gotta love the government. Reminds me of the time we got three (!) letters from the IRS saying we’d overpaid and would be getting a check for $1.04. wheee!!! The postage for the first class mail was more than the refund!
