So you read yesterday about most of my weekend.
Then Sunday afternoon I got this bright idea to make an iPhone app. No idea what it would do specifically. But I read an article about a 12 year old kid making an iPhone app, so my competitive inner nerd started bursting out. And I was feeling like I needed a new hobby.
Downloaded the developer software and was quickly reminded of my sophomore year of college and the hours I spent debugging code…

I didn’t shop around. I let google do the picking and wound up creating the “Scary Bug” app. This app lets you rate how scary a bug is. Yeah, instagram I am not.
I got through 2 of the 3 tutorials on Sunday. I didn’t get any of it right on my first try, and I still don’t really understand everything going on in the code….but I ended up with some cool screen shots….an something to blog about. So I guess that’s a win!

Any ideas for an app? Something simple? Have you ever tried making one? I could use all the help I can get!
