called Room&Board and I was turned onto the store by a friend – who’s house is really well decorated….go figure!
I have a more modern style. I prefer square lines. Every person with a design degree (I’m looking at you, Stace) is currently cringing at my oh-too-simplistic description of modern. But you get the idea. I’m not into the country, vintage-y look. I’m like Rachel Barry’s dads. Didn’t see Tuesday’s episode? Bummer!
Did I mention that the furniture is also comfortable?! I’ve been to a few stores that have great looking pieces but end up being super uncomfortable. Boo! Not the case at Room&Board!
Here are a few of the rooms I managed to capture. Love love love those chairs (be prepared for some sticker shock). Although I wish they had armrests. Not for the look (because I think they might be funny with armrests), but because I like to drape my legs over the arms of chairs.
Thought this was a great way to setup frames.
And I was kinda loving this table and the bench + chairs seating. They also can mix and match tabletops and legs. This was a slate colored top. Very nice.
Also enjoyed these lights. For my 20 foot ceilings.
Did I ever mention I have a black thumb? I can literally kill any plant that comes my way. I get it from my mom 🙂 But I think I’d have a fighting chance at keeping this little planter box alive. Full of cacti and succulents.
