you eat jelly bellys?  Have you heard of  jelly flops?  Basically, a jelly flop is the not-so-pretty second cousin of a jelly belly.  They are considered “irregular.”  An inexpensive mixed bag of delicious candy.  Pretty awesome.  The only downside?  You can’t just stick your hand in, grab a hand full and shove it in your mouth.  Why?  Seriously?  You have to ask?  Imagine chomping down on a buttered popcorn and a licorice.  That does not sound delicious at all.  You have to carefully examine your flops.  I once thought I was eating a cherry, only to learn it was a cinnamon!  (yes, yes, 1st world problems).

This got me thinking about the greatest candy moment I’ve experienced to date.

Think about gummy bears.  Yellow, orange, red, green and white.  You’ve got your favorites.  Right?  I know I do.  Don’t get me wrong, I’ll eat any of them, but I prefer the red, greens and whites.  If you’re with me on this, then get ready.  I went over to a friends house and her mom pulls out a bag of gummy bears.  The costco size.  And guess what?!  My friend only eats the oranges and yellows.  That’s right.  There was an entire bag filled with ONLY red, greens and whites.  I didn’t even have to look when I grabbed a hand full of those delicious, delicious bears.  No matter what I ate, it was my favorite!

Best. Day. Ever.
