you heard of Blue Apron?

Basically, they send you a box of uncooked, pre-measured food.  They pick the menu and do all the shopping, all you need to do is cut and cook!

We’ve had 2 weeks worth of meals delivered.  Each week comes with 3 different meals, ~2 servings per meal.  I’d say that we’ve enjoyed 5 of the 6 dishes and it has been a great way to try out new flavors and ideas!  There seems to be more prep required than our usual meals, but it gets both of us in the kitchen, which is always fun!  And if you have little ones, you could probably get away with giving them a portion of your food.  Most of the 2 serving recipes provided enough food for dinner + 1 lunch.

So are you super excited about Blue Apron?!  Well guess what, I’m giving away a 1 week subscription to Blue Apron worth $60!  1 lucky ready can try it out!  This is not sponsored by Blue Apron, just me!  Must be NEW to Blue Apron and must live in one of the areas where they currently deliver.

You can enter by leaving a comment and telling me your favorite/go-to meal and by liking me on instagram.  I bribe people to like me.  I’m not ashamed.

The giveaway closes at the end of the day on Friday and I’ll announce the winner on Monday!

Blue Apron isn’t the most conducive to my specific lifestyle, but it’s a cool idea and worth trying (especially at the expense if another

Not sure what happened to the rest of my comment above, but to finish it: I would pick Asian cuisine to be my favorite home cooked food. (But I rarely make this type of food. Go figure.)

Cooking? Not really sure what that is, but this seems like an awesome way to do it!

NEVER cook, but do appreciate lots of flavors! Single with an 8-5 job. My lunches are almost always packed snack type meals. My favorite go-to meal is Chipotle. So I guess Mexican-American is my favorite cuisine ;).

I’ve been reading rave reviews about Blue Apron, across the blogsphere, and would love to give them a try!

Favorite: pizza
Go-to: sunny side up eggs, yogurt, and bread. Most of my cooking happens for breakfast.
