was never my sport.

I wasn’t tall enough to play, and even when I played with the short kids I never made a basket.

When I was an RA, 2UW basketball players lived on my floor.  Does that count?

Nevertheless, I always fill in my brackets.  And here’s how I made my picks.

Initially, I had UW winning it all.  I mean, how can I expect them to win if I have no faith.  I’d feel horrible if they won and I picked them to lose.  It’s like I didn’t believe in them.  But then I read an article and it said that for the past 22 years, a #4 seed or better has won.  So UW got the axe.

I’ve always had a thing for Xavier – maybe it’s my love of X-men.  They let me down every year.

I picked both the Kansas teams….because I’ve been to Kansas City and had dinner near the University of Kansas campus.

I picked Notre Dame because my friend really likes the school.

Gonzaga – because they are like a classier version of the Cougs.

UCLA because I visited the campus this year.  Saw Neuheisel.

I have good friends from Michigan, so they survived a few rounds.

Our other friends are currently living in Arizona, and you have to stay semi-faithful to the pac-10.

Temple sounded like they might have a god on their side.  Always helpful.

Pittsburg was rated #1….so that made it easy.

Old Dominion was mentioned in the Blind Side, right?  And I love Sandra Bullock.  Screw you , Jesse James!  Nick just said it was Ol’ Miss.  Oops.

The rest was a crap shoot.  But hey, I’m currently winning our bracket (at 10PM on Friday night).  We’ll see if my random method for picking holds out.
